Let me be your Budapest tour guide part 1: The Hungarian Parliament area

Hello Guys! Im happy you are back to my blog:-)

Today’s topic is about tourism, sightseeing and travel focusing on Budapest, mixed with some fashion, just to stay loyal to myself and to you all:-)

So what you probably didn’t know about me is that I have graduated from a school where I have studied Tourism an Hospitality Management. I also learned everything about  Hungary’s geography, culture-tradition-folklore-sights and monuments of each region, our tourism and became a licensed tour guide in Budapest. My life have had my curves, -still has ?- I was lead to many different paths and I have lived and worked in different countries, but my love to tourism, tourists -and being a tourist- and hotels have stayed and will always stay in my heart.
Originally born in Hungary, and based in Budapest is a beautiful combo. Life is relatively easy here, way cheaper than other european countries, the level of education is strong, public transportation is not complicated, food is tasty and fat, social-and nightlife is developed and unique, the city is safe and extraordinary beautiful.

This post is focusing on the most prominent building of Budapest – the Parliament. I will give you some tips, how to connect your 45 min visit with the surrounding area and spend your time useful. I will also share the basic information you need to know about this majestic building, and beyond that some super interesting facts that most people wouldn’t know not even Hungarians.

This season’s most affordable and smart fashion choices

How far do you go for fashion? Are you following the high-end fashion gurus and copy “them” style or simply choosing what you like in the most popular commercial stores like H&M, ZARA, Bershka etc?

To be honest sometimes I find hard to relate to those who are advertising themselves on social media with big Hermés and Gucci bags, together with Tiffany, Louis and all the rest. I mean why photographing yourself with paper bags? Showing off brings nothing to my mind but feeling sorry for those girls insecurity. If you really (or your man:-) ) has that money, do charity, build something, help others, there are so many ways to gain your followers like, than showing off your money.

If you ask me, I like to follow high-end fashion, or so to say to purchase some statement pieces when I can, but as affordability comes handy I shop a lot from commercial stores.

Why?

There is a jumpsuit for every body shape

As 2017 slowly turns into 2018 i have had to notice that this year my new fashion trend was wearing overalls – commonly called jumpsuits. I’ve just realized that I always bring one with me to the fitting room at each store visit. Besides, it is also visible on every advertisement that pops up on my search engine that its either a Revolve, Secondskinoveralls, or a Zara jumpsuit on the ad.

This years truly newest fashion trends were the suits, the kimonos, the jumpsuits, the waist bags, the hats, and the sneakers. In fact as I’m sitting here listing for you I could just add at least 5 more items that if someone asks me i can definitely recall it was in 2017.

The variations when it comes to jumpsuits are infinite:
long sleeve, short sleeve, strapped, zipped, culottes style or skinny, loose or tight etc.

You can find endless pieces of velvet (e.g. this mango), vegan leather (e.g. this secondskinoverall),  fabric (e.g. this asos) or one of my this years favorite type the sequinned (e.g this missguided).

Knit Love Knit Everything

I swear in the last tree years i’ve bought more knit items at winter than winter coats. Its not only that i really like to dress layered but also i don’t like huge coats. Only occasionally.

Usually it is it’s softness, the fluffiness, their light weight, their foldability and last but not least their color are the reasons why i literally fell in love with each knit i see. Better to say i shall not try them otherwise i buy them. Nothing is different in 2017 winter compared to 2016 winter, except i have more knits and i barely fit in my wardrobe. But really! Ok they are either hanged or folded but they do take hell a lot of space!

In this post i’ll give you an example how a cardigan can substitute a coat (if) we don’t have in the style that would go perfectly with our outfit. Take a jumpsuit, quite shiny, quite silver, quite long, quite loose, quite thin for a winter outfit quite cool for going out… but still what do we do if we don’t find any coat fitting for our outfit… Noooo we don’t just put on what we have, we put a knit! Quite warm, quite loose, quite stylish!
